These striking birds can be found on coastal areas along the Gulf of Mexico. They jump, skip, and race through salt water frantically waving their wings in the pursuit of small fish. The landscape in this etching is a topographical view of the Gulf including Cuba. This is a four plate, hand-colored etching that is hand-painted with transparent watercolors.
