FRAMING OPTIONS
The framing that I offer to my clients is top of the line. The styles of wood mouldings that you see below have been custom designed by me and are manufactured only for me. The designs are minimal but elegant, and will complement any interior. The art is mounted with archival, acid free mats and materials using a "floated" technique wherein the artwork is only attached at the top. This method enables the viewer to see the beautiful deckled paper edge and also allows the paper to breathe and move with atmospheric conditions. A high quality linen mat is used with an attached filet. All artwork is framed with the finest museum non-glare glass which also has UV protection. It does not even look like there is glass on it when it is done! The back is completlely sealed with a wire ready for hanging.
Shown here is the silver pewter/champagne "deco" solid wood moulding for the lovely "Snowy Egret." If you click on it you can see the beautiful linen mat that is uses as well as the small silver filet on that linen mat. This moulding style and color has been very popular. It is also available in gold if desired. The framed size for this piece is 51 1/2" X 41." It can be framed smaller if needed.
The "Black Crowned Night Heron" that is shown here is framed in gold "deco" moulding.
Shown here is the deco moulding in a smaller size. It was used to frame the smaller Snowy Egret (image size 18" X 12 1/2"). The framed size is 32 1/2" X 26 1/2."
The "Florida Bird Series III" is shown framed in traditional silver pewter/champagne. The framed size is 25" X 48." This is also available in gold.
